Radio Static

Hello, I’m new to my 2021 TB. Having problems with the Radio. Half of the local FM and all of the AM channels play static which is very annoying. Anyone else have this issue?

I've found the only way to completely eliminate the static problem is to have my wife ride in the bed of the truck
Seriously though. Has it been a problem since you've had the truck or did it recently occur? Check the antenna to make sure it's screwed in tight. Maybe try a new antenna. They are pretty inexpensive.

Like the wife joke ! I just bought it a week ago. Of course when checking it out at time of purchase the radio seemed fine, but ever since it’s mostly static. I’ll take a look at the antenna though. Thx!

My FM static was caused by my dash cam.

My previous '22 TB had that problem, but I eventually traded it in for a '23 RAM.

Dealer couldn't fix it bc it was infrequent and usually worked when I brought it in to their shop.

Got it figured out! Faulty connection where antenna screws onto truck.
