I purchased a Range AFM / DFM Delete for my 2020 5.3 10 spd transmission truck. I have seen several posts online saying that it doesn't work if you have a 10 spd transmission. If you installed it and had issues, what were they? I am having no issues. I love the device.

From everything I’ve researched that unit doesn’t work on that motor/trans combination.

But it does. I have it installed on my truck. I bought my truck early in 2020 right as Covid hit. I wonder if the there was a change in the chips they were using or the programming. It works really well. That's why I was asking if anybody had issues.

Do you know that's it actually keeping the engine in V8 mode all the time? I have DFM and I can't tell when it shutting off or activating cylinders. My 2008 Suburban with AFM had a dash display indicating V8 or V4 mode. I don't believe the Silverado has that feature?

Yeah, somebody needs to find a way to positively confirm that we're running V8 all the time. I can't tell the difference, but I installed the Pulsar on day 1.

My 5.3 runs around 15 MPG and my friend's Sierra AT4 5.3 runs at 19 MPG, so is that's definitive? I do a lot more highway than he does, and above 70mph my truck chugs gas.

Did you adjust your throttle sensitivity?
