So I looked into this on the Range website. It says the 12th digit must be higher than 5. Mine is a 3. WTF? Unless I can’t count, the 12th digit is the first number of your last 6.

If this module won’t work, does anyone have a recommendation on what will? I’m mostly wanting one because my exhaust will sound better.

I might be wrong but doesn't this mean you can use the Pulsar instead?

Hey guys, you might already know this but wanted to share. I just spoke with Range because my disabler is being delivered today and after reading your post, I wanted to double check. They said it is specific to the 22 model. Anything past 22.5 should be ok. I just bought my 24 TB in March so wanted to make sure.

i thought the VIN relation for to delineate which 22 models it work for...in the earlier models.

Correct. Range told me that the 12th digit in a 2022.5+ Refresh model must be a '5' or higher on Vin.

I installed the Range DFM disabler today... what a difference! It's nice to have all ponies available all the time. Throttle response is on point with no BS. After I fill my tank this weekend I'll repost on my gas mileage change. I kinda drove it like I stole it after installation today...

What’s the twelfth digit of your VIN?

I have a 24 (6.2) so Vin validation doesnt apply to my truck. The Vin issue only applies to early 22 year 1-4 Vin. If your 12th digit of Vin on 22 model is 5 or more, Range says it will work.
That's exactly my interpretation of the website's description. 2024 should be good to go.

I just got home from a road trip, and my Range DFM was sitting on my porch. I will install it tonight after I get a little work done. Can't wait to test it out!

I was a little surprised to find our where the ECM was.
Me too! It's easy to get to from the looks of it on the '24 though...at least from looking at the video on the Range website. I'll find out shortly. 🤣
