I have a 2022 TB , it has the back seat compartments also built in. Is anyone else experiencing a rattle with the backseat when you hit bumps? I have took everything out of the bed, back floor storage and something is rattling in the back seat. It is coming from the backrest part I noticed if I hit the seat it does it. t

I actually had this same thing happen to me (22 Refresh TB) when my truck had about 400 miles on it. For me, it was the driver side rear back rest that was making the noise. If I pushed on the area where somebody’s left shoulder would be (if they were sitting in the seat), I could get it to make the noise.

The dealer ended up taking the seat back apart (had to remove the head rest and a couple of latches to get the seat to fold down, I believe), and when they put it back together, it didn’t do it anymore! I think there was some insulation that didn’t get set right behind the seat from the factory that they put back the right way when they reassembled it. Ever since they did that, it’s been great.

yea my back passenger side headrest does it and its annoying. it will only do it if no one is sitting there and the headrest is up. so i just flip it down and it doesn't do it anymore.

I had the same issue on a 22 refresh LT TB. Took the back part of the rear seat apart and noticed one of the cables that operate the rear sliding window popped out of its holder. Placed in back in and rattle is gone. Probably should have put a zip tie around it to make it more permanent. It was more on the passenger side of the rear seat. There are IIRC 6 bolts under the seat against the back of the truck and then you have to remove the headrest supports that go into the seat. There is a video on Youtube on how to get those holders out of the seat. Not too difficult.

Having the same issue with my 2024 TB. Taking it to the dealership, Friday. Rattles behind the back seat on the driver side. Doesn't rattle on highway, just on "rough" city streets.

What did they end up finding to be the issue? We have same issue with our 24 3500HD. Stops only if we put the bench seat in the up position.

Loose Bolt behind the rear seat. Work for a while, now it is back to rattle. Only when the seat is down, not while in the up position. Go Figure. I will take it back to be "fixed" again when I go back for the oil change and maintenance.

I just saw this video,
and the sound that's coming from my back seat sounds exactly the same. It makes that rattling sound. Anyone else experiencing the same thing? If it is coming from the 2 vents in the back wall, why are those vents there anyway? And is there a fix for it before I have to take it to the dealer, though I should take it to the dealer except my dealership is not close by.

they relieve the cabin pressure when shutting the doors. i have not heard any noise from mine

Well I definitely hear it in mine. Just like the guy in the video. Very annoying. May get motivated like he did and open it up back there to see if it is the same problem. I can smack the the back seat with my hand while parked and it rattles.

Just another update to the possible culprit to the rattling sound from the back seat that I found from a AT4 forum. I did check this out and it does seem to make sense as well. There is a locking mechanism under the rear seats when you fold them up locks into place, which ironically the rattling stops when in the up position. But when in the down position it is loose & rattles against the side wall it is next to. Here is the picture below. Now I just need to figure out how to maybe put a sticky foam pad on the side of it so it doesn't rattle when loose against the side wall in the down position.
