2025 Trail Boss Custom
Added a much-needed 2” Readylift SST kit to the 2025 boss at 8.8k miles. It now looks how I think trail bosses should’ve came from factory. Kept the OEM wheels as they’re a perfect color match, so I added 2” bora spacers to widen the stance a bit.

I will say, the ride is significantly more rough. I feel the road more through light vibration (I drive 70-80mph daily to work) but it also handles much nicer. Initially I thought the spacers may be causing the roughness, but I soon realized that it doesn’t change even with reduced speed so it must be the suspension.

Before the lift, the truck felt as though it was floating while driving, and potholes would make it bounce a lot. Took a while to get used to it, but now that the suspension is firmer I kind of miss that “floaty” feeling. I’m not sure yet if the roughness is worth the appearance so far, but I’ve only driven it 100 miles since installation so it’s too early to say.

doesn't the 2.0 have a preload spacer as well (under the coil), that will affect ride quality
a strut spacer (upper or lower) typically does not affect ride until a harsh droop scenario where you may contact the upper arm droop stop
