Any idea why given the success of Bronco and LC relaunches we are not inundated with news of Chevy doing a proper Blazer relaunch (and not the grocery getter they have wasted the badge on)?

GM tries to stick to the masses. They go 50% of the way to try to make 50% of the people happy 50% of the time. They missed the mark with the crossover blazer and had an opportunity to create hype with a full size old school version. I would have liked them to make one but would I have put my money where my mouth is and bought one? Probably not, my truck is far more useful. They don’t have a direct competitor to the raptor or trx or even Jeep as far as “cool” factor. But they don’t need to. There’s a few full size broncos running around my area in small town Oklahoma but I see far more bronco sports. Plenty of “regular” Chevy 1500s and 2500s though.

Not trying to be a Chevy hater, ive driven only GM trucks since I could drive (on my 5th) and have a 79 c20 my grandpa ordered new. Just my .02 cents.

Currently have my fourth, fifth and sixth Chevy vehicles sitting in the driveway. While we own our TB and Tahoe I have leased my Traverses as they just start to fall apart earlier than the other two and I have no desire to be driving a 10Yo 150k mile Traverse.

I live in a small community, and in that small community there is one car dealership. They sell Chevy, so that is what we buy, why else like in a small community by choice unless you intend to support their businesses.

That said, I have been looking a bit wantingly at the new full size Bronco as well as the LC for when that lease comes up. I am sure if Chevy did relaunch a Blazer it would have so many compromises that it would miss the mark. But then again, if they made a limited run v-8 or diesel with 35+ tires and a removable top they could put pretty much any price they wanted on it and they would sell out.

That two tone looks pretty good! I would have done a red stripe between the colors at the bottom as well.

This was the original colors on the 79 c20. Midnight black and mystic silver deluxe two tone; black/silver/black/silver. Just on a truck not blazer.
*color reference only, not my pic or rig

That Blazer is at GR Auto Gallery which is about 15ish minutes from me. It looks better because it has trim all around the paint lines.

That was an in progress photo release...

I have been working with a local vinyl shop to create a mid body two-tone...I plan to add a silver or the like....but I really want the Yellow trim to bring out some gold hues.

Just don't think silver is the mix, and white is too plain.

I would like the 2 tone, yellow trim and the New Mickey Thompson Slot wheel.

the 17x9's have 2 really nice offsets for the 19-UP trucks. 0 and -12...both will get a 35 with ease and a 37 with trimming of the impact brace

I’d be all over a full size Bronco/K5 Blazer retrun. Put it on a truck frame and give it some towing power.
