I didn’t mind (at first) the OEM Trail Boss decals. They were better than the “tape strip” ZR2 that came on my past colorado. But with everything else being blacked-out they started to look out of place and really didn’t match the Cypress Gray, and the white background started to bother me….so I replaced them with simple matte black TB decals. I like it better.

My factory bed decals are being replaced with black ones next week while she’s in for her ceramic spa treatment. :)

I have the exact decals for my truck, just keep forgetting to put them on lol. My 24 is has the black out OEM decals now, but I like the cleaner look of these.

We had above freezing temps and I was itching to put these on. and I should have noted this in the start of the thread:

OEM decal removal: Even at 35F degrees, the oem decal was just breaking off with a plastic trim removal tool. I took a heat gun at 'low' heat and 'highest' fan to warm up the decal. The trim removal tool then easily peeled a corner of the decal where I could grab it, then I just kept applying heat to it while I carefully peeled it off - worked surprisingly well. Only a few tiny spots of glue-residue to clean up.

That looks good,
I removed all badges and decals from my entire truck, I like the clean look.
But that does look really good.

I've got the same one. I also plasti dipped my large bowtie on the tailgate and added a couple of decals. I also painted my exhaust tips with high heat black paint.

Can't go wrong with black. I've had these American flag ones on for a while, I think I'm of going back to black. I have an American flag on my fuel door so It's kinda repetitive, besides I have a scratch in the flag wich actually protected the bed from taking to blow. Good thing they are domed and thick.
