For those that have done the Ready Lift 1.75 in leveling kit and larger, heavier tires, how much stiffer did it make the ride? I am strongly considering doing this leveling kit with some probably 1 inch spacers and tires in the 285x65r20 range, but I don’t want to sacrifice the ride to do it.

other than the possible contact with the droop stop....it rides the same. you are not changing springs or shocks.

now, if your doing some wheeling, and extend fully (full droop), you could cause the upper arm to contact the droop stop tab....that will become a harsh feel. this sis also why so many older chevys ride like @$$ after cranking the T-bars. you will be lowering the coil assembly down, and moving it closer the inside of the upper am, where it too can make contact. i highly recommend NEW UPPER ARMS (Tubular offers the most room) for several reasons...1. clearance to your coils assembly, 2. corrects and can add angle to the balljoint, if you max the BJ travel but are off the ground...the weight of tire/wheel can over extend the joints travel and POP...your done !

Yes sir, the RL 1.75 comes with new tube UC arms

My other option would be to replace the Ranchos with some Fox 2.0s, which would give my about 1.5 inches lift in the front, but would also be significantly more expensive.

i ran the 1.75, still using those arms....swapped to Fox 2.5 Elites.

I feel like going with the Fox’s is probably the best option. However, probably looking at close to $4k with shocks, arms, and tires and that’s before labor. As opposed to $2k for the 1.75 and tires.

I did the 1.75 RL and then switched to Kings 2.5. I did the Kings because I hated the ride with the Ranchos before and after the RL.

Did the RL make the ride on the Ranchos worse?

WVTB...what is your end goal ? Ride Quality, Off Road Performance, BOTH or just looks ?
there are several really good options to fit many budget ranges. Go watch some Shock Surplus Youtube video reviews, they do a great job of explaining and showing the differences. Even the internals...

the Eibachs are becoming a great choice, the Bilstien 6112's, and others....but each has there intended purpose and reason they shine in their respected field.

End goal would be looks and ride quality, and by ride quality I mean at least equal to what it currently is. I’ll take better but definitely don’t want worse. I do not do any serious off roading, at most just some slow maneuvering on some two tracks getting to hunting areas, but nothing hardcore. Truck is mostly a daily driver, and family hauler. I do occasionally pull a small trailer with ATV, and an equipment trailer in the fall.

After looking over several options I think I will end up going with the RL 1.75. It’s the most cost effective right now, and the truck is only a year old. Plenty of time to go with a shock package down the road.

The next question is tires. I’m leaning hard toward MT Baja Boss 285/65r20. Will I be able to fit these without any running issues? Will I need spacers? And if so what size?

This was my tire to UCA clearance with the RL kit and Toyo ATlll 295 70 on stock 18s. A 1/4in spacer would have sufficed but I later added 1.5 inchers for appearance only.

When you added the spacers did it create rubbing issues anywhere else in the wheel well, like on the mud flaps? Plus, I’ve got 20 inch wheels.
