I currently have the RL 2.0 on my 19’ Trailboss. I have the blocks in the rear but I’m not happy with the “Factory Rake”. I was wondering if anyone has added any spacers on the preload along with the RL spacers? I’m not wanting to get a lot more lift, I just wanna take any of the rake that I can out. I know I could take the blocks out of the rear and put the stocks back, but I want to keep the lift I have.

Can you post a pic? I am about to pull the trigger on the SST +2, the guy at the shop said it would be more level than the stock rake.
Thanks

I just finished mine today and it looks more level completed, than with just doing the front level.

How about keeping the ReadyLift SST kit in place but replace your factory Rancho shocks with some Bilstein 5100s for a tad more lift up front to get things as levelled as you want. I’m waiting until my factory shocks are worn down before I get the SST kit put on my 2020 Trail Boss, then I’ll upgrade my shocks at the same time.

Had a lengthy back and forth email session with a tech from shock surplus. Their claim is that running a 1.75 or 2.0 kit with the Bilsteins will result in cva axle damage due to the Bilsteins cycling more travel then the stock Rancho's. Their recommendation is to use the lift from the shocks to level the truck. The most they recommend is a 1/2" spacer to keep the driveline components happy. Understand this was all conveyed via email and they sell shocks so I don't know if there's a conflict of interest or not but figured I'd share with the group since we are looking at going this route. If someone is running the Bilstein/Readylift combo please give some feedback.

Maybe if you're running the Baja 1000 you'll "cycle more travel" and have problems. I'm no Shock Surplus suspension expert though:ROFLMAO:.

Once I get the set up installed I’ll post pictures and give an overall driving impression …. Due to severe freezing conditions throughout the country my shipment has been delayed..

But what if we used Bilsteins on their lowest adjustment setting?

Hey Baz, I Screenshot the email from the guy I talked to. It explains their reasoning better then I could. I would contact them directly with your questions. I can send you the contact info for the guy I was corresponding with if you want.
