The other night I was screwing around off road in a remote location and slide sideways down a hill until i was stopped by a tree stump. It would have been nice to have some under carriage rock lights to chip away the stump. Using remote lighting worked, however I feel the task would have been lees hassle if I would of had good rock lights for this. Any recommendations you use, have used, or know someone that swears by a certain one. It would be a nice to have is all. Might not ever need them again. Who am I kidding! Thanks!

I put these Nilight cubes in as rock lights. 2 on each side aimed at the front and rear tires. I was able to use holes in the body mounts below the B pillar that were already there. You can't beat the price for these lights. I've got 4 of them in my bumper too. Come with a nice harness. I had to extend the harness to make it reach from one side to the other. I did solder all my connections and then shrink tube each one. I'll see if I can get some more pictures up after the 9er game!

That would work and I have some of those and they do have nice harnesses. Thanks!

Thank you! Because I don't have a garage queen or show truck I went with your recommendation on the Nilight like you did. If you can can you send me a quick picture where you mounted them? I looked at the different rock lights and well just say I'm not under 25 and don't need street glow on my truck. I like this idea. Clean and simple. I have the lights Just want a rough idea how you did it. Thanks!

They tuck up pretty nice... This is the frame "ear" for the body mount below the B pillar. I ran the wires from a relay at the battery box down the inside of the passenger side frame rail and then over the trans mount to the drivers side.

Very nice and thank you for the pictures! I'll get it done this weekend hopefully. I'll put up pictures.

I was made aware, just a day or two ago, that street/highway driving with lights like these "on" is illegal in some locales. Might be a good idea to research that.

Yep, I don't drive on road with them. But I have used them more than I thought I would! Great for loading/unloading in the dark, courtesy lights for the family getting in and out and nice while camping to get things squared away for the night.

I wouldn't either. I just want them for our late night off road oh $h!t moments. Sliding down the hill sideways does freak you out a little at roughly a 60 degree incline.

Oh c’mon, you don’t want flashing red and blues under there? 😂😂
LOL! I don't need it to be a million candle power combined and strobing like a disco tech. I'm not out to drive it up and down main street with lights on or sit in a parking lot. :ROFLMAO:

This just gave me an idea to hang a small mirror ball from under the truck and let the rock lights illuminate it 🤣🤣🤣
