I installed a RC lift kit earlier this year and Ready lift UCA. For those of you who have installed lift kits with UCA. Have you noticed that the suspension and steering components makes a lot of noise when you start up and move in the morning on a cold start. I'm not sure of the lift kit and steering components are just "cold" after sitting all night and that what's I'm hearing. All the bolts are tight and upper control arms have grease.

Now that I notice the sound I think it's coming more from the steering components. When I apply force to the front end the coil overs aren't making noise. I believe it's more of the steering. Just not sure if it's related to the lift kit parts or not. It's just difficult to figure out cause I can't be under the truck while having someone in the driver seat steering and moving.

it IS related to the larger wheels and tires...not necessary the lift, but more the result of the lift.

typically, when most install lifts, they go WIDER with the wheel track width (neg. offset wheels), then add the larger tire to that....this compounds the force needed to over come the horrendous scrub line. it severely shortens the life of the steering components...then you start driving and apply added leverage against the ball joints....and so, and so....

far too many people do not understand these issues....they just want a lift truck with a stance....Pay to Play.
here is your PSA for the day....If it has Wheels or T!tt!e$, it WILL cost you

Thanks, that does make sense. I did go with an offset wheel and went from a 32" to a 33" tire just wanted a more aggressive look which most likely added extra weight all around.

i didn't do a lift but i did do the RC 1.75" level and went from 32" to 33" with a -12 offset. no new noises but as i say, i didn't do a full lift.
