2020 TB, 5.3, 10 Speed 44,000 miles.
Having an issue with RPMs jumping up right before it comes to a stop. I know its dropping into 1st but sometimes I get a lurch or a surge and the truck jumps forward a little. Like the truck is fighting the brakes. The lurch or surge happens off and on. But the RPM jump always happens. I drove in my buddies 2021 rst 8 speed and watched the RPMs and they didn't jump at all right before a stop. RPMs only jump up a couple 100 right before full stop. Idles great. I know I have an issue with some axle wrap maybe and the leaf spring u bolts are not torqued down. Waiting for warmer weather to get under it and take care of that. Could it just be axle wrap that is giving me that surge right before the stop? Sorry for the long post. Love the truck. Just an annoying thing. Thank you.
