My TB has leather seats and I am looking for a good cover to protect them while fishing in the Outer Banks. Will probably remove once vacation is done (not sure yet).

Would like some input from others who have seat covers for their leather seats on how they hold up, if you would recommend and your overall thoughts. Pictures would be a plus.

Thanks

they aren’t cheap but the Carhartt covers are by far the best looking and fitting I’ve ever seen. I love them, but I’m kind of a Carhartt fanboy

Ok. After reading up on the Neoprene covers and that I only want to cover them for a week or so, it looks like a temporary cover may be best.
Has anyone used a Car Seat Protector ?

Thanks again for posting. I checked them out and liked them and would have gone with them if they weren't over $600, since they will rarely be used.

I’m looking for seat covers as well but have a custom trail boss with the front bench. Not many options it seems for my truck.

I went with the RC and I really like them. Good protection and they fit really good almost like they are not covers but the actual seat material. I can't comment on longevity as I have only had my truck for two months.

Have you gone any long trips? If so, how were they? And how are they in the heat? I have a trip coming up that is a 7 hour drive.
So far, I've heard good things about them (outside of this forum(.

Longest trip was just over two hours each way last week, I had no issues/seat discomfort at all. In fact didn't even think about the comfort of the trip until you asked the question. Not sure I can answer the heat question, it has been over 90* a lot the last few weeks but I don't wear shorts out much. I haven't noticed any extra heat from them even with my bare arm on the center console cover. Really as far as I can say they feel just like sitting on the factory seats before I had the RC covers, only difference is I don't worry about getting my seats dirty even when my two Huskies are riding with me. I had some cheap none fitted covers on my trade-in truck for the previous 12 years and these are by far way more comfortable.

Thanks for the information. Much appreciated. Will probably order them.

I have the Covercraft route for my TB, and let me tell you, it's like a beach fortress for my seats! Cordura takes anything you throw at it, and the custom fit is chef's kiss. Sure, it's an investment, but I figure these truck seat covers will outlast my truck. Plus, heated seats still work through them - perfect for chilly OBX mornings!
