Side Cam Without Trailer

Got a ’22 Trail Boss 6.2. When I’m towing, the side camera kicks on with the turn signal — great feature.
Anyone know if there’s a way to have that camera come on even without a trailer connected?
Like… trick the truck with a dummy plug or trailer emulator ?
Just trying to see if anyone’s done it or knows a workaround.

It is a nice feature, I didn’t know I had it until it happened. As far as with no trailer hooked up, besides trying to manually select it from your camera views (defeats the purpose of it coming on with the blinker, I know) i wouldnt know where to start.

Spoof a connected trailer for side camera function

Anyone know of a mod for this? When a trailer is connected to my 2020 Sierra AT4, the side cameras activate when you activate your turn signals, shows the whole side of your truck and aft on your screen, very cool. Unfortunately it only works when a trailer is connected and I'd like that feature ...

2017 - 2022 Super Duty - Fake trailer - Quick question, anyone have a way to fake a trailer connection on a 23? Trying to activate the camera with turn signal. So far an adapter with test lights stuck into the gooseneck plug doesn't do the trick. Tried searching with no luck. Thanks!

Supposedly this works. I found someone on another forum quite a while back and they were using it for trailers with LEDs since there were issues with it not detecting the trailer. If you leave this plugged in it should fake the truck into thinking there is a trailer plugged in at all times.
