Just bought a 24 TB with the basic sound system. What’s the simplest way to improve it? Ideally, direct replacement speakers. Should a person run an amp, or just stick with HU power? Simplest way to add a sub and retain back seat function for cargo? Thanks

I replaced all the factory speakers with aftermarket and it makes a huge difference. A sub is on my list but I already have my underseat storage full in my truck so I'm looking for something that will fit under the jumpseat since I have a bench seat. I haven't pulled it out yet to measure what kind of room is under there. I have just the jumpseat with the armrest storage and not the bottom storage like some have.

so, i added the GM Kicker underseat sub...for me, it fills the cab perfectly. BUT, it did make the stock speakers seem dull...i am now planning to upgrade those to a 2way (front door) / 3way (rear door) to complete the zones.

keeping within a power range that works with the stock head unit was my first thought...but i may add a small amp to those locations

I added Powerbass OE series to my 22 LT. my son is jealous given his 15k system in his Taco, compared to to how mike sounds for how reasonable the speakers were.
