Just started converting the back of the Trailboss into an overland camper. Keeping it simple.

The softopper is great for that. I added VORR(Valhalla Off Road Research) panels to mine after installing the softopper and they have worked great.

I’m going to redo the inside and build a sliding drawer under the bed. With an access from under the bed as well for when I need to get into it at night with the tailgate closed.

Be mindful of the flap hanging over the top of the tailgate. It started to rub the clear coat on my truck so I put a small piece of protective film on mine and it worked great. Also, I now close the tail gate with the flap hanging down while I close it, which tucks the tail section between the curved bar and the tail gate so I have no cloth over hanging the top of the tail gate anymore.

I put Velcro on mine. So it doesn’t seem to move much at all. Plus it keeps the water out of the bed.
