Had my 35/11.50-20 Falken AT3W's installed today, yesterday I installed UCA's and a 1.5 leveling lift and did a mud flap delete to get ready for today's tire install. On the drive to the installer the truck felt pretty good at freeway speed ( 65-70 ) with no pull or twitchy feeling. The shop is a tire shop that specializes in trucks and lifts etc. Everything was great until the drive home, The wheel was off center and the truck was a bit twitchy. The truck went back and they tried to get the wheel centered, but went too far each way both attempts. They are going to consult the alignment machine rep tomorrow ( Monday) to see if they can figure out a solution. Does anyone have any input or had any alignment issues when leveling a 25 Trail Boss? Also added a Deer guard ( I live in the boonies and the guard might lessen the frequency of grill replacement and adds a great light mount. It was a total P.I,T,A to install as the front end of the truck basically had to come off ( I don't want to do that again any time soon).

Update: so the 35's rubbed the wheelhouse liners and the fabric needed to be trimmed and the rear bracket that goes between frame to body that also holds the liner needed to be modded to eliminated rubbing. I did a quickie mod by cutting the bracket which allowed is to be pushed back. I figured I should of welded it after to eliminate any noise and boy it that the case. The Admiral cringes every time the truck flexes and makes sounds like the suspension is about to depart the vehicle and proclaimed the truck " doesn't feel safe " Unfortunately this was during a 300 mile trip to see one of our kids and now I have to put up with the negative comments for the return trip. Timing and me being thrifty kept me from buying the seemingly overpriced brackets being sold to do the same thing.
Question : does the truck really need the brackets for strength as they are WAY overbuilt for the purpose of holding the fabric liners?
I will post the modded and welded pics after I return and fix the squeaky beast

you had to mod the CRASH BAR at the body mount to clear ? typically, the PLASTIC bracket needs to be removed and you can then push the liners back and repin or ziptie.

the crash bar usually doesnt need any work until a 37 goes on.

Mine were rubbing on the rear metal liner bracket with (3) largish bolts that the wheelhouse liner is screwed to. I cut a wedge out of it to allow tor flattening it while still mounting it back on the truck to serve whatever purpose it does besides holding the fabric liner. It appears to hold the fender lower to the cab . I did a quickie wedge cut ( and subsequent smash with a 5lb sledge) to flatten and push the liner rearward. I will pull it back off and weld it ti see if that is the sound offender. If it's not that it may pe the poly bushings in the new UCA's. The damn thing make a racket that reminds me of of grandmas old 70's maverick going through a dip. I imagine the crash bar is the 45 deg, 2x2 steel piece that comes off the frame?
Thanks

maybe i am thinking the plastic piece on the front side of the liner, i dont recall the rear (been awhile since i have done one)...

the impact brace is the larger piece connecting by the body mount

I have the same deer guard. Extremely strong and fairly light weight. Very happy with it
