Thinking of getting Falcon Tires 295/70R18 on my Trail boss with adjustable Icon shocks 1.5-2” lift. My question is will these tires fit without using a spacer, I will be using the Icon Upper control arm

Thanks

I have the same size tire with a 2in ReadyLift and UCAs. I had about 3/8in clearance between the tire and UCA. I wanted a wider stance anyway so I added 1.5in spacers. A 1/4in spacer would have been fine.

you say 1.5 to 2 lift (over stock ??)... any way it sounds like NO SPACER is needed, 3/8" is close but doubtful that contact would be made.

The shocks have adjustment from 1.5-2”, but I’m only using what’s needed to level the truck with the stock factory 2”. I heard it’s not good to use spacers, I just want things done safely and not cause any unnecessary stress on the front end.

Thanks for your input

Were your Tires the “Wild Peak”?

35x11.5x18 Falcon on +18 offset wheels with Read lift arms and no spacers. Resulted about 1/4 of clearance at UCA. Hasn’t rubbed yet but I’ll be adding a 3/8 spacer soon.

Are you adding spacers more for looks, or is there a reason the need if you have clearance?

The truck has yet to be offroad since this set up was installed. I’m not sure if airing down and suspension flex will cause any issues so I’d like to add a little room. The intent of this set up was to keep the tire in the wheel well and limit paint chips. I knew it’d be close to start.

under stood, do YOU understand the heights you mention ? reason i ask, i believe the ICON is a 1.5" to 3.5" variation. make sure you know and can explain or adjust to the proper height you want. 2" to you may be a leveled TB height, but to others may end up stock TB height.

I understand but I’m not doing the installation, and I’ll make sure the guy who does the install knows what I want.
Thanks
