Speed Limit Indicator

Speed limit sign that shows up on the instrument panel seems to have stopped registering posted speed limit. Does anybody know if this is tied into data subscription or OnStar ? Tried looking in manual but couldn't find anything. Did a little searching on line and there was discussion of an SD card. No clue.

Yes, once your free trial expires, you need to get the data plan to get that functionality enabled again.

Welcome to the 2022 refresh and Google integration. You can't use data from your phone either! You HAVE to have the OnStar data plan for that and other things to work. After learning this, I'm glad I didn't hold out for a refresh.

Yeah, I'm super irritated about how they've handled the data features in the refresh. Still overall happy with getting the truck, but I have no interest in a data plan and lose features.

I believe it's the data plan. The app access is just the stuff you can do from your phone to lock/unlock etc the truck.
