Regarding my TB order:
My sales guy from the dealership sent correspondence today.
He said "it has been accepted". But then went on to say that "its 1100 status out of 5000".
I googled and it reads to me that 1100 Status means that my order has NOT been accepted by Chevy.
Can anyone clarify?

I'm not sure about 1100 as my order status was 3300 when my sales person gave me an update which means it was accepted and in sequence for build. 3400 means it was released for production.

This was a write up on another forum so take at face value but seems to match everything else online.

From what I remember is 1100 means it’s in the dealer’s computer to be built, GM has not excepted it for build at this point.. I will see if I can dig up some more information for you…

Looks like 2000 is when GM excepts your order.. Found this on the web

Right. It was the young sales guy - and I tend to agree that he didn't understand that 1100 isn't yet accepted by Chevy.
When I initially ordered in October, they suggested 6 to 8 months before I'd see the truck. ...I imagine that came from the dealership proper - and not just the young sales guy. ...i.e.: The management might have fed him that info.

So, I'm probably just being impatient. ...I'm just anxious to at least see it be accepted by Chevy. :)

I ordered mine in April of 2021 and it was at the dealership 5 weeks after the order was placed by the dealer! They already had an open allocation for a Silverado build, so that may slow things down if a dealer doesn't have or doesn't get many allocations for Silverados.

5 weeks in 2021...that's crazy! Mine was built in Feb. 21 and delivered until after Thanksgiving ☠️

My sales woman thought it was because I ordered the 6.2 vs the 5.3 as the majority of trucks that were "in transit" were all 5.3 trucks. It was built in Indiana and I'm in West Michigan so transit time from factory was maybe a day.

It's awesome that you got one of the last Custom 6.2s
