I recently purchased a 2023 Silverado LT Trail Boss, and one of my only complaints are the stock speakers seem to be somewhat lacking. I would like to upgrade the speakers, but keep it looking as close to stock as possible ( I don’t want to make new cut outs or anything if I can avoid it). Does anyone have any recommendations on how to do this, or what to get, and can I use the same speaker positions that the stock ones are in?

Go to crutchfield website and put in specifics for your truck and they will show you what speakers fit in what location. They include mounting adapters and instructions for free. Thinking of updating my BOSE system and will probably go that route.

Yes a bunch of us on here have gone this route. I went with Jbl 3 way speakers from crutchfield in all 4 doors and pioneer 2 way in dash from amazon. I also bought some baffles from Amazon too. Sounds wayyyy better. There is another thread on this a few months back.

I did upgrades on a 19 Custom through Crutchfield. You can use stock mounts and cut nothing. The site can step you through whats recommended to your choice for each location. I have a post of my swaps with more info. The difference was fantastic and affordable. The extras are included for a smooth install.
