Hey fellas, new here. Been doing some reading but can’t find an exact answer.

I’m planning to get some 17x8.5 Methods and was wondering if 35x11.50 will fit with stock suspension/stock height? As far as I can tell, the 12.50 wide 35” is when you start running into major rubbing problems & not clearing the UCA , but I think from what I’ve gathered a 11.50 35” tire will work? I don’t mind a little trimming but from what I’ve read, the problem is clearing the UCA which the 12.50 wont but the 11.50 should?

Any advice/answers is welcomed, thanks homies.

Since you’re sticking with a narrower width, should be less issues with rub unless you go with a more aggressive offset over stock. Even so, all you’ll need to do is remove the liner bracket and some light trimming of the mud flap. If you’re close to the UCA, just add a 3/8 spacer.

Well, if anyone was checking this thread out, my new wheel and tire setup fit and didn’t even need trimming.

I can’t post pics since I finished the install once it got dark but I can post them up tomorrow or day after. The new setup is 17” Methods wrapped in 35x11.50 Toyo Open Country AT3s.

I did have to run a 3/8” spacer because the 17s just barely barely touch the caliper. I was actually going to just grind the caliper down a little bit but the 3/8” spacer have just the right amount of poke. Without the spacer, the tires would have basically sat flush or about a 1/4” inside of the wheel well which looks absolutely disgusting 🤢🤮. Need a tiny bit of poke but not a lot so the 3/8” spacer worked out great. The tires stick out maybe about a 1/4” to 1/2”. Looks amazing!

I can’t believe chevy/GM puts 32” tires on these lifted trucks from the factory. Super retarded. They should at least come with 33x12.50s from the factory.

Oh, forgot to mention. I also took the 2” factory blocks out of the rear. So the front now sits like a half inch higher. My goal with the truck is like a desert runner/baja/trophy truck style look so I wanted the front to be just a smidge higher. But not no Carolina lean gay shit. Just a smidge higher. It looks great.

Glad to hear it worked out with no major issues. To help others that may want something similar, what offset did you get for the wheels - was it 18, 0, other? Also, add some pics!

17x8.5 0mm offset.

It’s raining down here in Houston today. Will get some good pics for the thread tomorrow.

Nice! Looks much better with a proper size tire to fill the wheel wells and a tasteful amount of poke.

34x12s M/T no rub on stock

I recently spoke with customer service at Method and they said all the 17s now should fit without the spacer. I'll need tires next Christmas. I figured that I'll wait to get sale on both.

35x12.5’s no lift no rub. The front fender well I removed the rear fender liner bracket zip tied the liner back further. The front fender liner bracket I cut off and zip tied it more forward to give me the room needed. I put RC fender flares on which help give clearance. Otherwise you need to modify/remove the mud flaps the gain space. I also took out 1” in the rear because I don’t like the Chevy rake.

Once in a blue moon do I hear a rub don't recall if I am on an incline or some odd orientation but it is barely audible for a quick moment then gone. No worries or concerns:). Besides how many miles do we all drive in reverse at full lock anyway?
