Came from a tacoma off road to a 23 tb. I am excited for this truck however It would be awesome to start to see some options for suspension that is not trash

I’m not familiar with the Tacoma suspension setup. How does it compare to the Trail Boss?

Well on my 21 it came with some.pretty plush bilstiens and I was considering swaping it pit for the sdi e click suspension. Tacos have been around forever as ypu know. You buy one and just start bolting $$$ to them

In 1979 I bought the 1st year Toyota 4x4 and heavily modified it. Also bought the 1st year IFS in 1986. Both awesome trucks👍
Several kids, cars, trucks and wives later,
I have my 21 TB and love it👍

I just installed the Bilstein 6112 Coil over struts with the Bilstein 5100 Shocks in the rear. I added a Cognito UCA's. This setup leveled out my front end (for the most part). I also, swapped out my stock rims with some Fuels Rims that have a 20mm offset and 9"base. Im still running the stock Wrangler Duratec tires. They will be swapped out onced they wear out.

How does the ride compare ?
I'm sure it will have its own consequences down the line, but I have about 1000 pounds of tools in my box and it's stability feels way better and the mushiness of the ranchos is gone completely whilst still having lots of travel. The truck also basically looks leveled now.

If you plan on being loaded up a bit it might be worth seeing how it feels with weight in the box first before spending a bunch of money.

Ride is more stable than the mushy Ranchos. The wider stance also helps with stability.
Mushy is not how I would describe the ride I thought it was too stiff if anything. I can't find 6112s for a 23 tb. What shop did ypu buy from. I talked with king suspension earlier today. In about three months CCE will be supling king with a zr2 and z71. So I'd say we are a year off from getting something from king. Ideally I will end up with some remote resivouir shocks and incorporate sdi e-click universal. In the mean time I would like to get some bilstiens

2023 is no different than 2022

Hmm. I hope this is true but not the response I get from king fox or 4wp :(

Let me guess, they said, "We haven't had one of those vehicles in the shop yet so we can take a look at it. We'll post something up once we do." Fact is, GM is slow to change stuff.

All are slow. Vendors and manufacturers I need to find a 22 and take some measurements I supose and compare. There is a hieght difference and am not seeing spacers on my.23 tb

I went with Shock Surplus. It took about 3 weeks to get the Bilstein 6112 since they had to configure for my truck.
