Spin on grass....haven't tried that yet then again I tend to like to stay on rock, gravel or pavement. However, if you are saying Bridgestones are ONLY summer tires, I will have to say BS. And yes, I have lived in MI and know in the UP you can have some nasty snow covered winters, in fact born and raised in Detroit (Cooley High), glad to say I escaped to 'Nam, then returned for college then escaped for decades to places overseas where snow is only a dream, then to upstate NY (plenty of snow), TN (not so much snow), SE Utah (could always find snow when wanted in the winter) and have had other Bridgestone tires and never a problem.
And for snow tires, Bridgestone blizzaks are usually rated number one of usually in the top three. Therefore, a blanket statment saying Bridgesone tires spin in a little bit of water is totally ludicrous (So absurd or incongruous as to be laughable.) At least for a blanket statement.
Also, where I live north of Driggs ID in the mountains, and the roads I travel on prove your statement is incorrect in regard to the tires , however it might be possible the problem is with the driver and not so much the tire, or if in the SE part of MI just too used to having salt spread on the roads like sand at a beach.
My everyday road to my the house....in a Trail Boss equipped with the RH-S Bridgestone tires. And to note, my Frontier has a set of Toyo AT3, my prevous GM also had AT3 and before the AT3s were released, AT2 and all those goodyear tires before them ended up in a tire dump site somewhere.
Have a great day....
And to note, I will unfollow, you can read, others can read; however, after retiring from Uncle Sam my DR advises me to say away from stress

I just move on and never debate issues with people I do no know and for sure, will never know. But I still wish you fun and games in MI.
