Temp alway shows 10 degrees hotter then it is

My temp Guage on the video monitor is always showing a hotter temp then what the actual temp is.
even after driving for a while. the temp never go's down to the real Temp outside.
Is there anyway to recalibrate this? Has anyone here noticed this problem?

There's been a complaint of this on another forum. The sensor is under the passenger side mirror. If it's sitting in the sun, it's going to read hotter. Not sure why they placed it there as previous GM's have always had the sensor under hood in front of the radiator.

Yes, my 21 does this too. Outside temp has never been right

Yes, mine says it's about 10 degrees hotter than it is. I have a 2020 TB.

Yup my 2024 TB 6.2 does the same thing it’s always about 10 hotter than it really is. Is there a fix for this or do we just have to deal with it ?

My 24 6.2 TB does the same thing. It’s always about 8 degrees hotter than it actually is outside.
