Textured paint?

Does the lower painted side panel under the doorsw have textured paint? I just felt it and noticed mine has a textured feel to it and wanted to make sure it wasn’t just my truck.

Yes. “Anti-chip” paint.

My 2019, I just noticed the top layer chip I pretty decent size. What’s the best way going about fixing it? Just re paint or does something special need to be done over the anti chip?

SEM makes a good aerosol anti-chip paint. the COLOR is under the chip guard usually. you can get gloss or matte
