The Slate Grey Metallic Trail Boss Thread

My 2024 LT Dark Appearance Package that I just took delivery of this past Friday. Love this color! Will be putting back on my black lug nuts from my 21, tonneau cover and off road running boards over the next couple days. Pin stripes will be removed soon. Just have a few smaller things to do/buy to make it mine.

Added my off road running board, rain guards, hood/bug guard, black lug nuts, next up will be removing the pin stripes, tail light, 3rd brake light smoked covers, and finally getting my bed cover back on, just been too busy to get everything done.

4th of July bath. Am I the only one on here with a slate grey metallic trail boss? I know they didn't make a lot of the trail bosses in this color.

I really like that color , your truck looks great! I went back and forth between slate gray and Sterling grey. I would have taken either, the Sterling one had a few more options that I wanted so I brought it home . But that Slate is Nice!!!!

Yeah I traded my 21 silver trail boss in on this one. I loved the silver, but the slate grey got me and being the black out package.. it already had everything I did to my 21 for the most part. Tomorrow I will be clay barring it and applying cerakote professional ceramic coating to it. Really like the sterling grey too, I could have owned that color too. I was actually looking at a new riptide blue, but could not come to a deal on it.

I love that grey color. I've been a black silverado guy over 10 years now but that and a clean white with the blackout package are slick.

Yeah I love a black truck when its clean....but so hard to keep it that way. I had a 2001 Black S-10 step side manual when I was in college. LOVED that truck. Still miss it to this day, but what a pain in the ass to keep clean! If I ever saw one in good shape I would buy it in a heartbeat.

They are the GM off road steps. I actually bought them for my 21 on ebay, got lucky and got them for 600 bucks. They were only a couple weeks old, came off of a GMC and the guy didn't want them. Definitely kept them when I traded for this 24.
