I’m thinking about getting a Decked Drawer System for my Trail Boss and wanted to hear from anyone who’s used one -> What are the trade-offs?
I feel like there are a lot of pros: better organization, weather-resistant storage, and the ability to finally clean out all the stuff I keep crammed in my cab. But I’m curious what I’d be giving up in everyday use.
I mainly use my truck bed for recreational stuff; snowboards, skis, camping gear, that kind of thing, and occasionally for work. I also haul mountain bikes on a tailgate pad, and I’m wondering if that still works with the Decked system installed.
For anyone running one:

For anyone running one:
- Do you lose too much bed depth or usable space?
- How weather resistant / proof actually is it? / How’s the setup hold up to weather and snow / salt?
- Is there anything else I'm not thinking of?
