Thoughts on PPF / Clear Bra?

What are everyone's thoughts on Paint Protective Film / Clear Bra. Was looking into it for my new TB for the bumper/hood/headlights/front areas. It seems really pricey to me but was wondering people's thoughts/experiences on whether it's worth it? Also, what prices have you paid or seem reasonable for a decent film (Xpel etc.)? My last vehicle (non-TB) is ending its life to me with a decent amount of rock chips and paint issues etc. from 9+ years on the road. Probably average from a wear and tear perspective and would have been nice to keep it unblemished but not sure if it's worth the cost. Pros/cons appreciated.

worth every penny, just do it before ceramic. the film doesnt adhere as well to a coated surface

Correct. I had the whole front done including the complete hood. Couldn't be happier. I believe it was around $1500.00. Should have had the lower doors done at the same time. ugh!
