Bought my 21 TrailBoss used a year ago. Tires weren’t taken care of previously resulting in them always being loud as hell!! 36,000 miles on the truck and I had some LT295/70R18 Toyo R/T Trails installed along with the Fox 2.0 Coil-over struts and shocks. So much quieter and rides so much smoother over the Ranchos.
I did not add any extra lift and I have ZERO rub with the new tire size.🤙🏼

My 23 has 20” wheels with 275/60 tires. They are less than a half inch from the ball joint boss. How is you still have that much space?

@buckshot85 is your truck a diesel? I ran into the same thing on mine. Everyone talked about 285 and 295 tires on stock rims. When I got mine I tried to put 285s on and the hit the uca. Mine is a 2022 refresh with the diesel and I wondered if the front geometry is different on those.

No. I have the 5.3 gasser. Odd.

That's strange. I know I can't go bigger than 275 without different wheels or running spacers. Odd there is such a difference unless it's only on the newer 22 refresh and 23s.

I think the picture make it seem like a lot of room. I’d say it’s about a half inch between the tire and UCA. I expected them to be a lot closer after reading multiple comments on this page.

But with that tire size, in theory it should be only about 1/4”.

2 things,
1. visual representation looking down does not account for alignment of the parts...the wheel diameter will affect clearance and to where that clearance is. looking down is a 2D view of what should be 3D, you need a front or rear shot to accompany this.

2. i am really curious how much different the OP coil overs are from a full set of Eibachs ...I have heard FOX has the "softest" set up in regards to rebound valving, then Eibach being slightly stiffer, then Bilsteins... curious of there is any difference in spring rate, as the Eibachs dont visually show there spring part number.

Stormin08, it's the factory 18" wheel so if it was going to rub it would be from the increase in tire size. The first place the tire would rub is at the knuckle of the UCA mainly because of the bulge in the sidewall is at its greatest in that area plus any sidewall tread/design. Next would be the wheel well areas which also is not an issue.
The Eibach springs are a lot more superior to the factory Ranchos springs. Narrower and a lot more coil. I spoke with the guy at Shocks Surplus and the Bilsteins are better for towing a trailer which I do, just not a lot. I also wanted something for just overall ride quality from the Ranchos. Fox and Bilstein are both great products and I chose to go with the Fox brand.

To all that have posted:
It just dawned on me that the factory 18's are 8-8&1/2 inches wide and the factory 20's are 9 inches wide (I believe). That could be the issue and difference maker. I assume the offsets are the same? Not sure if anyone has taken that into consideration and I should have mentioned that before.
