2025 custom trail boss
I have a 2025 custom trail boss, I currently have a set of nitto ridge grapplers 35x12.50 on fuel 24x12 rims I love the rims but hate the space in the fender well. I want 37’s, do I have any options outside of cutting to close this gap or going with a smaller rim ?
Thanks

How tall is your lift? 6”? I can’t quite tell from the pic. What about your wheel backspacing and offset amounts? Those are factors to consider.

Thing with 37s is clearing the inner fender corner and crash bar. Smaller lifts, like a 4”, will require cutting the crash bars out and some trimming on both ends of the wheel well and bumper/fascia. It can be done to still look clean. Lots of the Dirt King “pre-runner” trucks are stuffing 37s with minimal lifts and some cutting to keep the truck lower to the ground while mid or long travel suspension soaks up the desert whoops.

37s are a bigger tire than the 35 of course, but it’s not going to fill up a ton of space based on your picture, which looks like alot of space. The diameter of the tire is only 2 more inches and will only slightly raise your ride height. Plus, on a 24” wheel, you’ll still have minimal sidewall; thicker sidewalls (more tire) will visually look big inside the fender well.

Take it til your local trusted shop and get their opinion.

ignore the wheels...those are leaving very soon. BUT, this is a 37 on an essentially LEVELED TB.
the front is only 1.75" over stock height, i have the FOX 2.5 Elites set at 3.5" with a 1/4" lower spacer...so at most 2" over stock.

IT IS ALL IN THE WHEEL SPEC, and yours appears to be to much of a negative offset. I have removed the IMPACT BRACE from behind the front wheel, pushed the liners back... and most need to shim the front bumper forward ( or hack as most do )
my bumper is trimmed, but only what was needed to clear for test fitting...i am working on a hidden winch and wasnt ready to pull the front at the time of the pic.

When dealing with tires and rims, make sure the size, load rating, and offset match your vehicle’s specs. Incorrect sizes can affect handling, ride height, and wheel alignment. Always check for bent rims, uneven tyre wear, and proper tyre pressure. After fitting new wheels or tyres, a proper wheel alignment and balancing is essential to prevent vibration and premature wear.

I would like to put 37's on my rig. I just got my 305/70 18's to no longer rub anything now. If you look at my "signature", I list suspension and tire info. What if anything, would you suspect I would need to do in order to fit 37's and have no rubbing? I have trimmed my front bumper and fender liners, but have not removed the crash bar.

Honestly, i dont have very much experience with the BDS lift. Knowing they replace the knuckles, that alone changes every aspect of your ride.
the wheel appears to what WOULD be needed for a stock spindle. But he BDS i believe pushes that out even more...then being taller in height...you would need a 24" or larger wheel most likly to pull it back in.

this is why most stock trucks will take a larger tire in most cases...on old tech once told me...cycle the suspension full bump, what tire fits there and turns without issue, is the largest that will fit. Now add a "lift" that lowers half of the components

i would suggest grabbing a 37 from somewhere and throw it on your wheel, compress your suspension and go from there

Sounds like all great info! Thanks for the reply!
