Hi Folks,

I just put e rated tires on my 2021 TB. Obviously the tire pressure is higher than the stock c-rates GY Duratracs. Do I need to adjust the TPMS pressure? If so how do I do this? Dealer?
TIA

At what pressure do the stock TPMS sensors indicate the pressure is too high? It might be higher than what you are going to run in your new tires.

I had a set of 10 ply installed on my truck yesterday. I saw them retraining the tire pressure sensors but I have no idea if they changed the acceptable pressure range.

The new ones are now set to door spec now. I'm going to increase them to 45 psi before driving it today.

I had a 2018 Ram that came with the passenger car rating tires. After installing these same brand/model 275/65 R20 10 ply tires I put on the Trail Boss yesterday the Ram 1500 didn't complain about 45 to 50 psi cold tire pressure. Those tires performed well with even treadwear and good ride in the 45 psi range.

most places do have the tools to adjust the PSI, that would dealer or aftermarket.
best to use chalk, then see if the system rejects the psi.

If you're only going up to 45psi from the stock 41psi with factory 20's the factory system won't complain. I don't know what the upper PSI threshold is before it complains.

Honestly, I never looked at the door specs on the TB. When I drove it off the lot the cold tire pressure reported all 4 were in the 36-38 psi range.

Sunday morning I increased the GY tires to 46 psi. Rolling out my driveway three updated to report 46 psi, the passenger side front was at 47.

Sunday afternoon we drove about 90 mile round trip. The truck nor my wife noticed any difference.
