Anyone know how to reset TPMS light on a 2021 trail boss? Dash cluster is showing 32lbs in driver rear tire but it’s definitely at 40lbs.

Thanks. That’s exactly what I read on the interweb. ‘Drive at a minimum 50mph for 10 minutes’ and it should reset. I performed that task with no results. It’s going in for new tires and an alignment on Sunday so they will reset them or replace a bad sensor. But I’d like to know for the future how to solve the issue without a scanner. https://a.co/d/1olhvCc

Make sure you check all tires, if you've ever had the tires rotated and the mechanic forgot to re-assign the sensors it might be a different tire.

BINGO. Thank you. I’m ashamed I didn’t think of that!

Awesome! You can get one of those TPMS sensor gizmos from Amazon so that never happens again. Give your mechanic crap next time you see him. 🤣

The sad part is I am a mechanic, heavy mobile equipment though, I rotated them last!😂

That's it, you're fired! 😝

I rotated my own tires last week and mine are all out of sync currently. I have a tpms tool, I just can't find it. 😖

You can also HOLD the check button while in the TPMS screen...the truck will go into learn mode, start driving and they connect quickly

GM has been doing this for years...the vehicle illuminates a marker light, adjust that tire till the hor blows...move counter clockwise around the car till done.

I tried this with my 22 LTD, didn't work. I read somewhere GM disabled this ability 10-15 years ago.

Didn’t work for me either. Pretty confident that you must have the tool or a scanner. IAmazon has a really cheap TPMS programmer that according to the reviews does exactly that it’s supposed to do. TPMS PROGRAMMER

It was 2009-2013 as GM phased out the built in "learn" procedure for the TPMS in it's vehicles. You have to have a programmer to force them to communicate. Luckily the $10-15 cheapo one works just fine on all the GM vehicles I've used it on so far. On the 22.5 trucks they FINALLY set up the sensor system to auto learn when driving after so many miles. My 2011 Dodge Durango had that way back then! It was nice to just slap the wheels on and drive and it would relearn within 5 miles.
