Just picked up a 21 trail boss I want this thing to last forever any tips on what I should use to undercoat before the winter come!?!? Is it worth getting it done professionally????

Mines has that thin factory undercoating but if u go underneath and look these is some rust spots starting specifically on the weldss

I’ve always touched my trucks up when I first start to see Rust

they come with a factory wax coating, apprently stuff like Krown will accelerate the factory coating falling off, id just use what came on it till you start to see surface rust then just spray it yourself on the lawn with rust stop or krown or whatever you choose thats my plan anyways

I see it’s been a few years since anyone has last discussed undercoating. I have a new 2024TB and was wondering if there is anyone who has done this in the past or recently. Several products out there like KROWN and WAXOYL and Film Oil seem to be popular. And then, of course there is the Ziebart undercoating. Any preferences/ pros and cons

I have been using Fluid Film every year. I bought a Woolwax sprayer and is simple to do.
You only need a gallon each year. The first coat uses the most but not that much more.
Here is the sprayer it's pretty awesome.

Do some research, I thought my manual said that undercoating could void certain components of the factory warranty. I could be wrong, but it's worth knowing for sure.

I have heard also that it could void the warranty and I should ask the dealership and get it in writing

I use black fluid film. Easy to apply and protects nicely down here in Florida even with beach driving.
