Trailer hitch

Buying my first boat and am looking for input on which trailer hitch to use. 2” drop down or more…. Or an adjustable.

Welcome to the Forum . I have a 2in lift on my TB and use a 4in drop on my hitch to tow my 20ft boat. Your set up might be (probably) is different.

I run this hitch with my TB...but i am at a 4" total lift height and a 37 now...but it works great, light weight and easy to swap balls.

Welcome to the forum. There is no 1 size fits all. It depends upon the geometry of the trailer. The trailer should be as level as possible when hooked up to the truck. My utility trailer (with tiny 12" rims) requires a 3" drop hitch to ride ~level.
