UCA that doesn’t require spacers

I am looking at leveling my TB, and wondering which UCAs protrude the least over stock? I heard the ready lift UCAs get really close to the tire when using the stock rims. I am looking to run 285s or 295s on stock wheels, and would prefer no spacers. Anyone know which aftermarket UCAs would work?

i ran the readylift uppers on my 2017 suburban with a 285...it had roughly 3/8" and never took the paintoff

ReadyLift with 295/70 stock 18s.
I added 1.5in spacers for a wider stance but it probably would be ok w/o.

I asked ReadyLift about this many months ago. They recommended a 3/8"-1/2" spacer with 285s. I have the tires on my truck, 1/2" spare sitting under the rear seat, and 2" ReadyLift leveling kit in the garage. Just haven't had much time to do the install. I'm hoping the weather is decent enough during Christmas break.

the wheel diameter will have a huge effect on this as well. i would have to look at my current setup, but i am willing to bet a 22" wheel swallows the BJ area.

You'd still need to check full droop and A-arm contact if you removed the droop stop like some kits mention.

I believe Cognito makes an arm that is compatible with the stock wheels and tires. The sheet metal arms don’t fit without spacers or new wheels but I have read that the tubular arms fit.

I've seen stamped control arms, but not "sheet metal". However, the sheet metal for the outer hull of a US aircraft carrier is up to 19mm thick. If that were used to make an UCA, would that be acceptable?

I’m not sure where sheet metal ends and plate begins. But sheet metal is what Cognito calls their formed and welded arms so I tried to use the same terminology to avoid any confusion. Seems like that worked out well
