Hi, everyone. New to the forum.

I bought a 2022 Trail Boss LT earlier this year and absolutely love the truck. Love it.

However, I have one very odd issue. When I try to fuel up at one particular Speedway by my workplace, the fuel pump nozzle doesn't seem to sit correctly and will not pump gas. It immediately clicks off and no matter what I do ... will not pump anything. Today I forgot this and stopped there for gas. Unfortunately, I later realized this caused someone to get free gas on me today. After not pumping any gas due to the issue and putting the nozzle back, the transaction must have not reset. Luckily the next person must have had a Prius and only got $25 worth of gas. I ended up going down the road to a Marathon and it worked just fine. I haven't had any issues at other gas stations, but can't recall if I have tried another Speedway.

Has anyone else run into gas pumps that just will not work with your Trail Boss? I've owned a lot of pickups and this is a first for me.

I have not had this issue personally, but I have encountered fuel stations that have a type of pump nozzle that has a lip on the end that gets hung up on the edge of the fuel port upon removal.

The Silverado's double door gas port does seem to have a strange angle to it.

I run an 1800 mile round trip monthly...Louisiana to STL up 55. I stop all over, never had this issue.

My 16 did, due to a mounting pin falling out, and the neck surround was angled funny, must have let fumes out ???

But the 23 has not has this issue.

I had this issue initially at some stations. You have to have the nozzle at the right angle and sometimes move it around to get it to work and not shut off. Here is an excellent video on how a gas pump nozzle shut off works.

I've run into this before as this is my first vehicle that doesn't have a gas cap. I found that I was putting the nozzle too far in.
