Go Rhino dominator D6 side steps. High and tight, no brackets to hang down. Straight forward install. They have a lot of adjustability forward and back, so put them on jackstands and get them where you want them before bolting up. Had the DSS sliders previously, loved the look, but wanted a little more step surface for the kids and wife. D6s reviewed well on the 1500s (ask @PHXPHOTOG) so decided on them for the HD. Stick out about as far as the bed-step.

OEM black tailgate letters, looks better than paint filled in my opinion. And then some tow hook covers. Kind of cheesy but the red and orange from my front plate clash so this helps that, plus they’re molded silicone so easy to remove.

Like a thick decal, from Chevy accessories site. I think site says 0.5mm thick. I got them off eBay cheaper but still OEM.

Swapped out the black letters for reflective flag lettering, took the chrome Z71 off and swapped it with a black one, changed the trailboss bed sticker to a custom flag sticker, and added black flag decals to my side mirrors. Tomorrow I sizing up my tires and getting KO2 tires.

Where did you find the hook covers? I have some coming that I found on ebay but I think they're for the 1500 hooks.

Yeah I couldn’t find any 2500 ones on Amazon, only 1500s, so I got them from gorecon. Stupid pricey for what they are. But it’s what I wanted and easier than pulling them and powder coating.

good match on the hooks. I've done the plastic matte black tailgate lettering(on black), it made a difference !

Few days out of town. About 500 miles round trip. All highway. Got 16.5 out and 16.2 mpg back. Not bad for a truck with an almost 7k curb weight.

Pistol Pete, Oklahoma State’s mascot, and Yosemite Sam do have some similar features! From that angle I liked the aggressive look of the cab lights with the hood nostril.
