What did you do to your Trailboss today? 🛠️

Finally got my exhaust, intake and some interior wood paneling wrap done.

Exhaust - super 40 to 3" to quad tips instead of the HDMI port.
Intake - just the s&b cold air
Wrap - I had an air freshener beat up some of the fake wood accents. So I took some plastic filler, sanded it all down to flat and wrapped in matte OD green. I still have the wood on the door panels and not sure I want to fully tackle the plastic rivets to get that work done.

Next up: leveling kit (if I don't hate myself from researching) and new wheels and tires.

24 TB LT Added some Lock Off-road Lunatics 18x9, 0 Offset . Using the factory GY Territory MT’s til the Nitto Terra G3 is released and available

W/O photos, it didn’t happen🤣

I don’t think we need to see another s&b intake lol. But the black chrome tips and the OD wood grain wrap. Have to admit, not a bad wrap for my first time. Still contemplating the door wood trim wrap as well.

And finally the Cognito 1" leveling on elka 2.0's are in transit. Looking forward to finally getting this suspension updated. Miss my upgraded OME lift on my old Taco.

Took care of some much needed window tint today. Got tired of the way it looked.

Spray on ceramic coating...
I'm old school, a bit of a skeptic, and set in my ways but I thought I'd give it a go...
This brand was recommended by a friend and was $45 on Amazon for 16oz. I usually use Meguiar's quick wax for dark paint and have been happy with that product. I like that you can spray the Meguiar's on in direct sunlight, and it gives a good shine for a month or so. This ceramic coating is "in the shade only". I will say it brought out a really nice shine. The trick will be how long it lasts... Time will tell. 🤙

The LASTING effect is in all in how you care for it....I have a prep spray that will eat a 5yr coating in one wipe.... just use PH neutral products, and learn how to properly wash, that is where all the damage is done.

I wish I could say I'm not that into it, but secretly aren't we all hahaha :ROFLMAO: . Our water filters down through the Santa Cruz Mountains into the Soquel Creek before finding it's way into my garden hose. It is so mineral rich it leaves a chalky white haze on the paint when it dries. I've tried a couple of different things in the rinse water including RainX, Windex and Jet Dry. The only thing that works is a cup of vinegar in a gallon of water and a synthetic shamois wipe down after washing. So I guess I am definitely not keeping the PH scale neutral. And then there is the salty fog that settles in every night. A wax product to shine it up really brings out the brush burn! Oh well...I bought it for wheeling and adventures and adventure scars it has.🤙

I was thinking of having my local Line-X guy black out my chrome tips on the exhaust..I asked him about it and believe it or not he had no experience with that sort of mod..Surely I am not the only one who had this idea...? Anyone black out their exhaust tips.?? If so ho

I installed AFG Exhaust and opted for the diamond black quad tips. I they do make a an exhaust kit that will work with the “USB plug” style tips. It wouldn’t hurt to give them a call to see if their tips are compatible with the stock exhaust.

Installed AWE OFG exhaust on my TB and opted for black quad tips even though they do make a package that will install using the existing “USB” style tips. The powder-coat finish is beautiful. I would get in contact with AWE to see if their black tips are compatible with the OEM tips. You’ll get a blow pop too if they do end up ordering them.

Do you notice a big difference. What type did you get
I used Corsa. Yes definitely a noticeable difference in throttle response and little better gas mileage. 100% more noticeable in the cold winter air than in these warm summer months.

Busy day for deliveries. Powerstop Sports front and rear kits came in. I also had new Good Year Wranglers installed. A lot cheaper at $789 for 4 compared to the extremely loud stock Good Year Duratrac’s. Also grabbed a Milwaukee orbital polisher for the big Fall detail.

Today was oil change day. First I changed the wifes Yukons oil and rotated the tires. Then changed the oil in the Trailboss and now I am trying to plan when to get the new tires mounted.
Just did tires today. I actually bought off eBay and they shipped directly to my local tire shop and eBay had a coupon code for free install.
