What's new

What did you do to your Trailboss today? 🛠️

Installed the REK-mesh off-road mud flaps. Expensive but worth every cent. I do a lot of true off-road stuff. Not sure how many use the off-road capabilities of this truck but it does what it was designed for. Walk right up some narrow trails!
I like that Trail Boss logo! I just ordered a redline edition logo, I figured it might look nice with my black with red accents theme.

Installed cold air inductions CAI. Very pleased with the build and material. Really cleans up the engine bay.

I just received and installed my functional ram air hood from Dawn Enterprises! I love it, and it sets it apart from any other Trail Boss's I have seen in my town! Any other Silverado 1500's, for that matter! Getting it to close properly took a little convincing though. I had to adjust the latch location a little bit and the rubber hood guards slightly to have everything close nicely. But it was fairly simple! I of course had to replace the 6.2L badges with some aftermarket ones while I was at it lol.

Very nice! I was looking at the same hood for mine. I know they paint it. Was the color spot on to original? Just curious.

Yes it is a perfect match! But I was told by someone at a local body shop that this black color by GM is one of the easiest colors to match and only takes two coats. But the website does guarantee 100% satisfaction with color match and fitment. I had to call my local Chevy dealership to get my paint code as it absolutely was not located in the glove box or door jam. Pretty straightforward process otherwise!

Just got my 21 LT Trail Boss the other week. Slowing getting everything blacked out. Swapped out the Z71 for a gloss black, smoked out the front side lights and third brake light. Also swapped the reverse and license plate light for the LASFIT leds. Added a wireless phone charger to the middle console.
Next up is adding a matte black Trail Boss logo on the bed, gloss carbon fiber and satin black accents to all the chrome trim inside, the RC LED grille kit, the AVS Aeroskin Light Shield Pro to the hood, and the BAKFLIP F1 tonneau cover to the bedC06CFCEC-47A0-4D72-8682-8CB6836685A5.jpeg9972C809-AF9D-4027-93DB-3B86AA9D0BF2.jpegB4CD755E-36C4-47FB-B35D-1440E99FFA6E.jpegCEC23A0B-2891-422F-B3D0-EC80E975D1A4.jpegBB9C8DE1-2EEC-455B-A69E-51A5BCC2C820.jpeg2CD30DAE-137F-4C03-ADD0-93CA9D7F3580.jpeg

Lookin good! Been thinking about the wireless charger. Which did you buy and where? Did you run it to the cigarette lighter behind the dash?

Got mine on Amazon, info below. It comes with the wiring harness to connect under the back seat ac vents under the console, also put the YouTube video I watch for instructions. The only issue is they only gave the T20 driver for the middle console screws and not the T15 you need for the back to pop out.

I'm very happy with my Boost Auto charger. Mine tapped into the cigarette lighter in the rear of my console.

Wrapped the custom interior trim with matte indigo from 3M. Not bad for first time. Ordered bigger piece to do radio bezel next. Possibly may use extra pieces on the side mirrors maybe only wrapping an area.
