What's new

What did you trade in for the Trail Boss?

Sold my 1997 Chevy Z71 K1500 with 236k miles on it to get the 2021 custom TB. Nice change from 97 to 2021 lol. Dealer only offered me 1500 for trade. Sold private for 4500.

Just wondering what everyone had before the Trail Boss?
Sold my 17 Z71 for what I paid for it new this year, and included the TB 6.2L in the deal package. 😁

I had a beautiful 2020 Colorado with all LEDs upgraded, Leveling Kit, Air dam delete, Gen5 DIY DRL relocate harness and factory light bar switch. Unfortunately it got beat up really bad in a hail storm and believe it or not dealer offered me way more than I owed to trade

3 months ago about I ended up trading in my 10th anniversary rubicon for my TB. i miss it everyday but the problems I was having with it made it easier.

Traded in my 2008 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab Pre-runner. I bought that truck brand new in 2007 after making it home from Iraq in one piece. It was my very first new vehicle, drove over 3 hours away to Atlanta to get it - still remember the odometer reading 12 miles when I drove it off the lot. Took great care of that truck, never had any problems - put 212k miles on her and never once had to take her into the shop for anything other than regular maintenance!

Of course Toyota is known for its reliability, and I’ll readily admit I looked long and hard at the new Tundra TRD Pro, but they were very underwhelming, to say the least. Not to mention over $10k more than the 2021 LT Trail Boss I ended up with. This is my first foray with Chevy, and I know Toyota is known for that dependability but will be more than satisfied if my new Trail Boss lasts anywhere close to 200k+ miles like that Tacoma!

Hello all, traded a 2016 Toyota TRD off road Tacoma for my 2020 Trailboss LT. Got the 6 months deferred payment 0% interest deal. Smoother ride, more power and way more room. Started the mods and will post up more later.

I went from this:

I love the ride and power of the TB with the 6.2. There are times I miss the diesel but overall I am better off. Since the TB pic I have re-added the TB decals to the bed in Gray/Black.

I am currently waiting for my 2021 Trail Boss to be delivered to the dealer. I traded my 2017 Nissan Titan XD Diesel, that was a stud of a truck pulling my 36' 8500 pound travel trailer. I am going to miss my Titan especially the suspension and fuel mileage pulling the camper. I have always wanted a Chevrolet and with trade in values being so high I decided now was the time. I know the 6.2L will have plenty of power but hoping the suspension is enough with weight distributing hitch to not need air bags. No shot in @$&* the 6.2 even gets close to what the diesel fuel mileage was but I am excited to get my Trail Boss!
If you haven't got it yet you won't be disappointed. I loved my XD (see above) but got worried about potential problems and figured Gas Engine problems would be cheaper to deal with than discontinued Diesel engine problems. Had my XD for almost 5 years, deleted for probably 3 of them, but developed a turbo issue that I wanted to get fixed before my warranty ran out. Tech told me to put it back stock so he could properly pull the code. Was going to order a new turbo for it, but they were backordered. Then he told me that one had come in with the broken crank issue...That was enough for me to drop mine before it happened to me too. Got the TB with the 6.2 and am quite content.

I traded in my 2011 Silverado LT. 204,xxx miles on it. She was a great truck mechanically but she came from up north and was rusting away quickly
