So, I already know that, in choosing wheel spacers I should use hubcentric. I was thinking of putting 2 inch wheel spacers on my 1500 Trail Boss 2024 any feedback? Warnings?

I run 1.5” on mine and it pokes perfectly for me on stock rims and tires. 2” can be done as well and look good (on stock wheels and tires). That said. I just put 35” tires on mine and at full lock it rubs like a mf. I’m in the process of going down in spacer size and doing the trimming I need to do to fix that. Long of it short running spacers can shorten the life of your wheel bearings, the bigger the spacer, the more risk of that. But, it’ll look good as shit doing it.

Thanks bro

I run 2" spacers at stock height with stock tires. I run them in winter because my summer wheels are -15mm offset. This puts them at about the same place. I'm running Rough Country SF1 fender flares and they come close to being flush with the edges with the spacers and the -15mm wheels.

Any problems?

None. Going on 4th winter with them on. Found them on ebay hub centric, no name brand.

I run 2” spacers on stock rims at stock height year round. I’ve had no rubbing or any other issues with them.

If you want to run 2-inch hub-centric spacers on your 2024 Trail Boss, plenty of guys do it, but there are a few things to keep in mind. The extra width looks good and helps clear wider tires, but it does put more leverage on your wheel bearings, so expect a little faster wear over time nothing catastrophic, just physics. Make sure you buy quality spacers, torque them properly, and re torque after 50–100 miles.

I have been running 2" hub-centric spacers on my 2025 Silverado LT Trail Boss and my tires rub like a MF! My setup is as follows:
4" Zone Off-road suspension lift (6" total lift)
FOX 2.5 DSC Front Coil-over shocks
FOX 2.5 DSC Rear shocks
305/70R 18 tires on 0 offset 18" Rough Country wheels
Even after major trimming (cutting and bending), my tires rub the outer part of the wheel well liner (on the side of the firewall versus the bumper side).
I will be doing a drastic change of going to a 15mm wheel spacer and hopefully this will alleviate the unfortunate rubbing. I did attempt going without any spacers, but the inside of my front wheels/rims rub the calipers because of the 0 offset, so I will be going to these much thinner spacers to hopefully rid both the rubbing on the fender liner and the calipers.

Your offset and spacers are really pushing those wide tires outward. Hopefully the thinner spacers will alleviate your rubbing issue👍

Fingers crossed!

With that setup you're effectively running a NEGATIVE 50mm wheel with an almost 35" tire NO WONDER IT RUBS! A 5mm(1/4") slip on spacer is all you need to clear the ridge on the caliper. You don't need any special lugs as there's plenty of thread with that size spacer. That's what I have to run with my summer wheels because they just rub.

Yeah, I screwed up when I purchased my aftermarket wheels without any offset. Live and learn. Oh well. Haha! Yup, gonna put on the 15mm spacers soon and hopefully it alleviates the rubbing. Fingers crossed!
