Just got my trailboss thought there was to much space in wheel wells coud I take out the factory 2 inch lift without messing truck up

I apologize if this was a stupid question I
Realize it was but one thing I’m not trolling this site what ever that means
I just thought the factory tires were a little small for the truck and I didn’t realize it when I bought it because I was too excited about getting the truck itselfAnd the reason why I asked this question was because I didn’t want toPut new tires on the truck at a different size Did not mean to insult anybody

I apologize. I didn’t think it was a serious question.
You could lower the suspension but cheaper and easier to fill up the wheel wells with bigger tires.

I believe you would need new struts, and possibly springs and bump stops for the front. The front cv axles on the trail bosses are extended to accommodate the factory lift so you would need shorter ones. The rear blocks between the leaf springs and axles would also need removed. By the time you buy the parts and pay for labor you would spend as much if not more than a set of tires that would actually make the truck look better.

Welcome to the forum. These new Silverados are quite big and the factory tires do look puny in comparison. This photo might help. Here’s my truck with no suspension mods and just bigger tires on factory 18in wheels. Tires are 295/70r18 Falken Wildpeak AT3W. Hope this helps you decide.
