I know there’s plenty of peeps on this forum running wheel spacers - but I’m running stock wheel with stock tires right now and am looking for a better stance and a little poke - what is recommended - 1.5 or 2 inch? And if somebody has pics of their setup that would be awesome….

Thanks in advance y’all

Did anyone have any issues with the wheels not fitting flush against the spacers because of the stock wheel studs??? I have the stock 18" wheel/tire combo and recently purchased some 1.5" spacers and the rims will not fit flush onto the spacer. Any rec's?

Yeah, if you don't have recesses in the stock wheels and are only running a 1.5" spacer, the ends of the studs stick out. I got 2" spacers to avoid this issue, even though I had seen people say stock wheels have recesses to clear the excess stud.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking, I did not want to cut the original studs down to make the 1.5 spacers fit.

So if I am running everything stock on a 21 trail boss with the stock 20 inch wheels and tires with 2 inch spacers, will it rub at all??

Recently installed 1.5" Mamouth spacers from American Truck. Good quality, pleased for the price. Some words of advise for anyone looking to install 1.5" spacers, you will need a deep well socket to bolt the spacers on and impact socks DO NOT fit in the spacer lug bores. Also, the factory studs do not hit the back of the factory rim with 1.5" spacers, if you go smaller you might have an issue and need to trim the tips of the factory studs.

to ANYONE wanting to run spacers....PLEASE RESEARCH THE MATERIALS USED....SPACER AND LUG STUDS !!!!
DO NOT CHEAP OUT IF YOU CHOOSE THIS PATH>

Depends on the rims, with my stock 18" rims the 1.5" spacers would not work because the studs push the rim out despite having cuts outs. I wish they did, I tried x 2, I am now going to try 1.75".
