I’ve done some research and there’s a few companies that have OEM upgrades to the infotainment system to enable wireless CarPlay on the 2020. Does anyone know anything on infotainment.com? They offer the IOR to IOU upgrade along with the Denali cluster that looks 1000000000x better than stock.

It's expensive as hell! I added an AAWireless module to my stock IOR radio for about $100 vs well over a grand for the Infotainment setup and I don't believe that gets you built in GPS either. The AAWireless module plugs into the USB port for the radio, but it's only for Android. I HATE Apple so I have no suggestions for options with CarPlay.

Thanks bubba I’ll look into one of those modules. Is there’s a delay on yours?

I really only use it for Google Maps and it has worked fine for me. I've had more issues using USB connected Android Auto when traveling with it crashing or locking up on my phone and trying to get them to re-synch and work again. I had read some complaints about battery draw on the phone, but I don't really notice it when I'm just using it around town. On long trips I plug it in to charge. The AAWireless unit won me over vs the Motorola one(my last several phones have been Motorolas) because the AAWireless is updateable through the app. The Motorola Android unit is just asking to be an outdated piece of junk in 2 years or less with no option to have software updated.

Wow...just looked at their site and the prices have shot up. It's now $1900+ for the upgrade! It does include GPS now, which I thought it didn't before. I see they have some other options for the IOS radios now too, which they didn't have before. https://infotainment.com/shop/inter...gps-navigation-wireless-carplay-auto-upgrade/

Not sure what your truck's trim level is, but several people have done the cluster upgrades and like them. I have a Custom and bought the $390 safety confidence package that included the color cluster, steering wheel radio controls and pedestrian and collision warning camera system. If you update the cluster you can also add steering wheel controls for the radio if you don't have them, even with the IOR radio. You might need to add a wire from the clock spring to the gauge cluster which they offer on their site.

So I have the LT trim so I have all the cable and connectors just a custom interior unfortunately. I’m working on building the OEM aftermarket truck that I want lol

Same here. I wanted the Custom because I like the grill better and I didn't want to pay ~$7k more for the LT trim when there were only a couple things I wanted above the Custom trim.
