10 speed Transmission issues

Picked up the TB this evening. Transmission.....pump kit, clamp, two seals, nut, and cover.

Whine is gone. No unusual noise, runs and shifts as it should. Only time will tell.

@Ed R how loud was the whine? I have a refreshed '22 LT TB and have noticed a whine while driving as well. It's not super loud, but always there and seems like it's coming from around the same area as the transmission.

It was a noticeable whine. I did not have to be driving, just sitting at an idle. Rev the engine and the whine would rise and fall with the RPMs.

Brought my 2020 6.2 Trailboss in to the shop today for a whine in the tranny that started sat morning wehn i go up to go hunting... 49K miles.... They said was low on tranny fluid, not leaking.... but needed to keep it longer to diagnose... i told them look online... most people have said its the pump.. wish me luck..

My 2020 5.3l 10 speed Trail Boss is going in the shop tomorrow. Noticeable whine from the engine/transmission. No warning lights or hard shifting, just a whine. Dealer/service rep. said it is the 10 speed transmission, just from listening to it. I can sit at an idle and rev the engine. The whine will rise and fall with the engine RPMs. Started at 36,500ish miles. No problems with truck up until now. I'm pretty easy on this truck. No off road, but tows a Bass Boat, may be 3500 - 4000lbs.

I own a 2021 6.2 RST ,out of the blue no reverse and maybe 2 forward gears only 44,000 miles on it, anyone have this issue?

I had my transmission replaced at 25K with the same issues above, now at 53K I am having the same problems again with the new tranny.

Own a 2021 RST with 10 speed , reverse went out and only lower drive gears , shop says it is the valve body which GM is in short supply of ,why isn,t this issue a recall???

I HAVE A 6.2 AND A BAD 10 SPEED TRANSMISSION

Massive GM recall coming. Do a google on "recall N242454440" but i can't tell if my 10-speed 6.2 is affected because GM's recall site is down... go figure

That recall is only on diesel equipped trucks and suvs.
I had it done to my 23 Duramax Yukon. Simple software update but has to be handled at the dealer.

Haven,t heard of wheels locking up but I have a 2021 RST with no reverse and only one forward gear , shop says its a valve body issue in 10 speed transmission and GM doesn,t have the part on hand , crazy GM needs to recall this problem and I,m not alone with this issue

They have parts to build new vehicles. That’s what is effed!

Yes i agree ,have a friend been waiting 2 months ,seen online someone waited 9 months,GM should give out loaners to use will waiting if it is under warranty!!
