Good morning,
I have a 2024 Trail boss LT with the 3.0 Duramax. One of the first things I installed was the Rubigrid mount.
I'm loving it as I have easy access to my phone but I ran into a unique problem. I need to run wires THROUGH it. There's no existing hole I can use for this. So I wanted to ask the experts. Here's what I'm working with and what I'm doing.
This is my current setup. Simple but it works.
What I want to do is mount a switch pod next to this. Effectively getting this.
Eventually I'll be mounting a ham radio head unit to the right.
What my problem is, is that there's no hole for me to run a 3/8" plug through.
Does anyone know where I could drill a hole to route wires through my dash?
I plan on mounting the fuse panel in this gap behind the battery
With the main breaker roughly here.
