Crazy times. I bought my brand new 2021 custom trail boss, 5.3, 6spd, crew, standard bed on dec 24th 2020. Sticker was about 47, i got it for 39,900 otd.
That was less than 6 years ago that i got one under 40k.
In oct 2024 i bought a second identical one, with canopy too, with 13.7k miles on it for 32k, bought from family so a good deal. Two half tons is just more than i need though so ill be selling that one soon with 28k on the odometer. With prices of new trucks i should have no problem getting my money back on that. Hell, a new 2dr, i4, 2wd work truck is pushin 45k now.
