I haven't heard it rub in any situation I've been in. I have done zero modifications to my truck to make the tires fit.

Hey thanks! I will ask the shop about availability on the 285s. Looking at the Falken AT4W site page, it looks like the 285s are only C rated (2 ply - 6 ply rating) as compared to the 275s (3 ply - 10 ply rating)...but they are quite a bit heavier. I have the 5.3 engine that may not like the extra un-sprung weight in performance.
