285/75/r18 on stock trail boss

Thanks for everyone's input the 275/75/r18 Duratracs fit great! With the inner fender liner tucked back I don't have any rubbing so far! I still need to modify and reinstall the mudflap, or get a delete kit. Leaning towards putting a modified mudflap back to save the side of the truck from the tires slinging stuff everywhere.View attachment 4850View attachment 4851View attachment 4852
Can you show me a side view? Does it stick out? I want an aggressive stance

The tires are flush with the fenders. If you want the aggressive look you will need spacers or wheels with a different offset.

I see that you upgraded your tires awhile back. I am getting to the point where I can't take my stock Duralouds anymore and want to upgrade. Have you had any issues with the larger tires? Did you notice the ride height difference, it's supposed to be about 2.5"?

No issues with the larger tires. It really should be the size a TB comes with in my opinion. I still get 21 or so mpg on the highway and no rubbing even in a couple off road situations I have been in. I have also recently upgraded my coil overs and rear shocks to the Bilstiens with Cognito UCAs. Love the level stance, however wasn’t necessary to fit these tires. I might go with a 35x12.5 when these wear out.

Thanks for replying! I totally agree they should come with the TB's, you would think for a 60K truck....My boss suspension is still stock at least until I get it paid off. I added some wheel spacers for a cheap agressive stance so I am not worried about my UCSa's going to the 285's. I just hit 18k and the wheel noise is really lame and I hear it gets worse at 20k so it's time. Again thanks for replying!

Your truck looks great! I am about to do the same with 285/75 18 Toyo AT3, Bilstien 5100s and Cognito SM UCA. Did you have any issues with the tire rubbing the new UCA on the stock wheels? and if so did you use a spacer?

No issues with 285/75 hitting my UCAs, however it is close! I have the tubular style cognitos, not sure if the sheet metal style would be a problem or not. If I go with 35/12.5 I will likely get new wheels with a different offset to avoid UCA rubbing issues.

This looks bad ass dude. I have been looking at the same, see this is like a year old. How did the non rubbing hold up? You could put those go rhino steps to protect everything on there without the mud flaps
